I am very pleased to present to your attention the Miramar Hotel which is a historic landmark as California's oldest beachfront hotel located in Montecito, California established in 1887. Presently I am the movie producer and the creative producer is James P. Gawzner (sole living survivor of the family who owned the famous/historical hotel) we are both attached to the historic movie project and both are currently developing and producing a international documentary film and Hollywood motion picture which is true and historical story to be considered for worldwide distribution by Oprah Winfrey's Ro Co Films International to be co-produced into a Hollywood movie worldwide.
I strongly believe that the global cinema audience will connect and see the complete vision stemming from this worldwide movie project on a global scale being produced with the strongest interests simply because you are associated with the Jewish and African-American culture/history on a an international level.
The upcoming Hollywood movie project, "HOTEL CALIFORNIA, DIARIES, SECRETS AND SCANDALS" according to the Writers Guild of America experts and film critics have said the movie is on the same magnitude or higher than "CITIZEN KANE" and the "ENGLISH PATIENT" which was produced by Miramax Films that won nine (9) Oscar awards during 1996.
The film, "HOTEL CALIFORNIA, DIARIES, SECRETS AND SCANDALS" will depict and portray a Russian-Jewish family from Russia escaping from the Bolshevik revolution eventually seeking sanctuary, freedom, and to seek the American Dream.
Upon arrival in New York, the Russian-Jew, Paul Gawzner had finally arrived to work in America and finally traveled to California to seek the American Dream in which the he and his wife purchased hotel fortune, the Miramar Hotel. Years later terrible tragedies occurred for the Gawzner family which still haunts the family today. James P. Gawzner is the only living family member who gave his account of a true, accurate and historical story to the Hollywood movie industry in which he has accomplished at this moment. During the golden years of the hotel’s existence as racial tensions swept across the nation the Russian family hired an unique employee, Grover Cleveland Barnes whom a African-American revived the hotel in a major way as head bell man for 35 years. Mr. Barnes at 103 years old old who received acknowledgment letters from both presidents Bush and Obama and was entered into the Congressional records by the current California Congress woman, Lois Capps of Santa Barbara.
Based on the Hollywood movie project, "HOTEL CALIFORNIA, DIARIES, SECRETS AND SCANDALS", an international documentary film will be completed soon and shown on Oprah's Winfrey's new television cable network. The screenplay will be written on contract by one of Hollywood's elite and famous screen play-writers, David Sheldon who is currently under contract with myself and James P. Gawzner. James P. Gawzner is a dear friend of the Hollywood actress, Jane Russell which she personally mentioned his name in her autobiography book on page 306. Jane actually lived next door to the Miramar Hotel.
At the William Morris Agency my agent will assist me in packaging and marketing the Hollywood movie, "HOTEL CALIFORNIA, DIARIES, SECRETS AND SCANDALS" for worldwide cinematic distribution. I need to tell you that Rob Lowe, Jeff Bridges, Kevin Costner, Julia Louise Dreyfus, Kathy Ireland and Oprah Winfrey all live within 5 five minutes away from the hotel. The international documentary film, "HOTEL CALIFORNIA, DIARIES, SECRETS AND SCANDALS" will entered into competition as a documentary film and the Venice International Film Festival in 2011 for the Hollywood feature film.
Presently myself and James P. Gawzner are seeking co-production available funding ($290,000 USD) to complete and produce the international documentary film for the Oprah Winfrey cable television network as a preliminary movie project before the much anticipated feature movie, "HOTEL CALIFORNIA, DIARIES, SECRETS AND SCANDALS" to be produced and released worldwide.
